Ok time for me to jump back into the stream! This is a shot from a large format camera with a Leaf Aptus II 17 digital back ($$$$$). My first pretty good shot with it. Let me know what you think, I'm just going to post the link because it is a HUGE picture. We're talking, the RAW file is 30MB!
So yeah it's a repeat(ish) but I'm gonna also answer Phrasikleia's question:
It is on borrow from uni. We have a service bureau where we can check out gear, like this $40,000 setup lol
Spent yesterday at the shore just photographing the waves
Great shot Steamie, the wave looks like a firework

Bradford is one of Yorkshire's less beautiful towns, and the siting of this 'Welcome to Bradford' sign tells visitors what they can expect.
Went to the Cycle World International Motorcycle Show last night...
Only beginning let me know what you think!
Also the first picture I took with my new camera:
Look what we found...
Camera: Nikon D50, 18-70mm kit lens.

That has a look of HDR about it, I'm sure it hasn't but though so for a second.
View over Firth of Clyde, Cumbrae & Largs.
This was taken on Saturday after climbing a hill, standing on a fence post and waiting for the light. Still missing something, think it doesn't have something to draw attention to. Also (now) aware there is a hair in the camera somewhere.
More point 'n shoot...
Actually... still made in the U.S. Wonder how long before these are outsourced...
Another point 'n shoot macro (Lumix LZ8.)
Exposure: 1/30 sec
Focal Length: 5.2mm
Flash Used: No
Beautiful contrast. Did you have to use an ND filter to get the softness in the splash? Could you share your settings?
1/180s - f6.7 - ISO400 - 255mm eqiv
This is really cool. I have never seen a wave shot like this. Very nicely done.
From my trip to SF:
My Grandpa let me borrow his 105mm Macro.
Whoa! Everyone is off to an excellent start...
Near the Cocoa Beach pier last weekend.
Another fine bluesman - just flown in from Canada for a UK tour
