Experimenting

Was going for an old school almost film print look with this picture, because it really isn't very interesting. Don't think it came out all that well, but I might revisit it again later.

Just realized I had the EV set to -3 for the past two weeks…. Man I really need to pay better attention to my settings!

Blackheath

Chambered Cairn at the summit of Blackheath on the Howth Peninsula, Dublin. Most of the cairn material has been removed leaving a thin spread of rubble across an area 10m in diameter. At the centre is a stone-lined cist where the burial would have been placed. When viewed from this spot, the two islands of Ireland's Eye and Lambay line up with each other.

The first of several Olympic 2010 themed shots :)
This one was taken using a Sigma 10-20mm lens (@10mm) I rented for the day... I'm officially a fan of ultra-wide! :D

This is a shot I did this past weekend of a stranger. It was actually fun to do.

constructive criticism welcome. also testing out my signature. thinking about turning down the opacity/size as it may be distracting.

dsc1825m.jpg

i love the shot and everything about it. the sky isnt blown out and the composition is great. as for my own personal preference, i think itd be a little better if the opacity on the logo is a little higher to keep the logo from being too distracting. but its not a biggie. but great logo btw!

Wish I had my tripod this evening. Would have had many more shots. This is the clearest I could get anything while still maintaining all of the clouds.
