3 Bald Eagles - off in the distance - you gotta squint 
. Obviously, I didn't have a long lens with me but this particular area is chock-a-block with them. Off to the side is a lake full of fish and you can find dozens there this time of year. Winter is a great time too for birding with the trees bare.

Is this near Standley Lake Regional Park? Just wondering since I follow an Eagle Cam there.
That's a cool cam indeed! Barr Lake is about 30 miles east of there.
AFB, don't ask how many takes this image took. 😉 continuous low was my friend here, and duplicates are already culled.

So the current temp is -23°C. Forecast high is -24°C with a low of -32°C predicted for tonight. Seems like as good a day as any for this photo of an ice candle my wife made for Christmas of 2004.
