    I really like the bokeh on this shot of a parrot I took this morning while it was sitting on my sister's pool fence!

    Same photo I posted before in December, but with a different crop and a slightly different treatment.

    I took a shot from behind one of the local shrine's guardians on New Year's morning.

    I really liked the first version, but this is even better. The blue cast sets the mood perfectly, and the crop really brings us into the scene. I just love the way that the moonlight is playing off of all of the elements and how one window is lit. Sublime photo!

    Happy New Year everybody!

    @sonor: excellent picture!

    It's a real winter here, so people are able to do outdoor skating, although the ice is still fairly thin..

    Happy new year everyone! I tried shooting fireworks for the first time. End-result is not ideal, since my location wasn't that good (as you can see from the trees in the bottom-right corner), but you make do with what you have.

    I took this last night. It was really cold ( I live in Norway ) but looking at the picture: worth it :D I´m quite new to digital photography and this was the first time I brought a tripod with me, but I must say Im quite pleased with the result.
