Hi all. Took this shot this morning at Deschènes Rapids in Gatineau, PQ. That's Ottawa in the back ground. Processed with Lightroom 4 beta, which I find very good at revealing a wider dynamic range from the same shot.

ISO 125, F/8, 30sec, 21mm

Had to take a break when the sun came out last week... I was trying to recreate a 1903 photo taken from the same location. There has been a bit of change since that time. Anyway it is made up of 12 portrait oriented shots.
D80, 300-28mm 3.5-5.6 @ F8, and 28mm, ISO 100, 1/200

Lovely shot, like this a lot

I like doing pix of people who seem to fit in the pub environment. I met this couple today, in the Hole int' Wall, Bowness, who are planning their Lake District wedding in May, while being surrounded by rabbits, badger, pheasant, etc...

I shot some band photos for a band called The Jon Dolls today! I am still in the process of editing the digital ones but I did snap a couple on film. This portrait of drummer Stephen is one of my favourite photos I have ever taken! I think its the whole film look, grain, light leaks, his personal style just comes together so well! :D

I would love to do another session with Stephen!

Shot with Kodak Portra 400 film on my Nikon F801s. This film is really nice with a stunning vintage grain! Love it!

I was similarly impressed with the Lightroom 4 beta and can't wait for the release version. It has now spoiled me, and I don't want to use version 3 anymore!

I like the textures and tones you got with that photo. Very nice!

Someone I know produced a similar B&W of this view, and I wondered why he didn't opt for a color version. As your photo shows, the PoFA is really lovely during the blue hour. Nice one.
