^I like the color and all in this photo. Interesting take on a common subject.
What lens did you shoot this with? Your EXIF data is a bit off the wall...

EXIF Summary: 0.8s f/1.4 ISO100 3341mm !__:eek:__!

Dale

The camera gets completely confused with that lens. I'm using a Soligor 70-220mm f/3.5 with a Pentax K mount. I have an adaptor that lets me put it on my 60D. Because the lens is 30+ years old, the camera gets the lens part of the EXIF all messed up. So it was 220mm and I think f/3.5, but I might have bumped it up to 5.6. I can't remember now. I got this lens from my dad from his old Pentax 35mm. It is the only macro capable lens I have, so that's what I'm using it for mostly. Today's shot is with that lens, too. Looks like I was about 110mm and f/16 for this photo. I got my wired remote in today, and I used it to activate the shutter instead of switching to a 2s timer to eliminate vibration.

From the initial glance at the picture and the start of the story I thought you were going to say that you turned back from the car to find a gust of wind had blow the iMac off the step! Fortunately it hadn't.

Great picture, love the clarity and sharpness. Any tips on how you accomplished it?

My photo was taken at a party at the weekend. All "effects" achieved within the camera. I am just looking for some more creative ways to differentiate my pictures from my other friends who seem to take the most boring pictures possible alas it comes with being part of the facebook generation!

How did you do that?

Hmm, I don't get it. I assume it's some pop culture reference and I'm not always up on pop culture... :p

from the Disney/Pixar movie "Finding Nemo"
the 2 characters (a clownfish and a yellow tang) make their way to Sydney Harbor
Probably worth checking out just to see your stomping grounds in beautiful Pixar CGI

Sydney from Bradley's Head.

Another great shot otter!

It's nice to hear the Aussie characters voiced by Aussies for once as well. :) ...

I finally was able to replace my stolen camera gear! I now own a Nikon D7000 and the new 50mm Nikkor f/1.8 G. I am going to be getting the 70-300 VR, 16-85 VR, and Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 as well. I look forward to posting some new pics soon!

Another macro shot from the Soligor 70-220mm at 220mm and f/11 (since the EXIF gets all messed up). I must have this pent-up macro photography in me that I can finally release.
