What a dramatic shot. What camera/lens did you use?
Greg

Thanks, that's a 7D with the 17-55 f2.8 IS USM

Shot for today... Mozart memorial in Vienna, Austria...

I tried a popular hack which turns your 50mm into a macro lens. I was doing this hand held so it didn't work too well. The DoF is just way too shallow to get any good results. For size references... each of those 'spheres' (my plant knowledge is showing) are about 0.25cm.

Bit different from what I usually post. This is a panoramic image of the WTC construction site, in NYC.

Here's mine for today, final project for Adv Lighting class, Student Choice. I want to go into food photography eventually so I made my final pertain to that. Simple setup lie the last one except I used a small softbox on the left side and a reflector on the right.

macrumormonger - where was this taken?

What you are looking at is Horseshoe Bay in Marin County. Shot taken from Vista Point, right next to the Golden Gate Bridge. Drove all the way from L.A. to get a pic of the bridge, and my best shot was this:

Lame fog. The first and second shot was taken at the same time, so yea, just a few feet over is sunshine.

Once took an inpromtpu trip to San Francisco, that was a fun 9 hour drive. I wish i had known more about photography when i was there, so many shots, but not many keepers. Here is one I shot when we first got in and were looking for a place to stay. Shot this from the car just as the light was changing green. Ended up at a hostel, was a pretty fun trip. :D
