I took this photo because this plant just really stood out in the field, it seemed to be the only one/or most complete of its kind! Taken with my Sony Nex 5n at 18mm, f6.3

Playing and learning about refine edge in Photoshop. This was a bit of a toughie, cause he was against grass on all sides, with a really strong green reflection on him.

One of the boys saw someone else's out of bounds pictures on flickr and said they wanted one with our boof-head (dog.) So I killed two birds with one stone.

Adorable peek-a-boo composition.

Looks like you have the process figured out. Really cute dog!

I haven't gazed up at palm trees in far too long. Thanks for giving me the experience vicariously.

Lovely colors, Reef.

Thanks Phras. He is a cutey. I think mine turned out more like a pop-up-book character than the true out of bounds thing, so I'm going to redo it tomorrow.

Thanks a million for your discussing luminosity masking with Reef recently, it got me to look at it again now that I have a better understanding of what's going on. ;)

I love palm trees! Given how at home I feel in warm/hot, dry, even desert environments, I sometimes wonder how come I came to be born in the UK!

Lots of great photographers on MacRumors.... good stuff. I enjoy looking through here regularly.

Here's another photo I shot last summer of the CEO of Bennche. We were shooting a commercial on RED. I saw him watching the action from across the field... so I snagged this photo of him.
