A Mexican Fiesta Hibiscus from my Aunt’s garden.
Ornamental crabapple flower just before the petals fall. It's quite a beautiful flower, even when it loses all its dark red and pink colors.

Beautiful animal! We have several Osprey in Apex, NC at Jordan Lake. Quite the community of Bald Eagles also.
Even though we are three weeks into winter here and yesterday was the shortest day of the year, we have had some warm, sunny weather. So I thought it would be a good chance to stick my IR filter on the camera and do a bit of testing.
