Nice! I love this shot! I did the same thing with my bosses E90 M3. Also did it from the inside looking out from the garage.

Love your snowdog in the last two pictures you posted and the contrast of the red woodwork with the snow. If you can get the angle right, would the red building make a subject in itself in the snowy surroundings?

I am going up there again as soon as the weather allows it, its only a five minute walk from my house. I will try to get the house from another angle, and I agree, it works fine as a contrast to the white snow
 



First trip out with new Sigma 30mm 1.4. Respect goes to Edge100/Gold89/Toxic who helped me out with lens selection.

hahaha. yess dale, that was me. i ended up getting the 190xb with 496RC2 head. and i LOVE IT!! then, i got into light painting and just even more fell in love with my tripod because i used it every night. light painting has been my thing lately.

now, i created a website to showcase all my photos, which is in my signature. soo, this forum has helped me A LOT! and i thank everyone who's made a contribution to helping me out! :D

I like how you can see through to the other side - it's a still life and at the same time it's a subframe framing a landscape! The reflected sky adds a great contrast as to your behind as well. Very nice Dale.

our dog loves to retrieve anything thrown in the water will even dive for rocks no matter how cold the temperture.
