This is just pretty.
Wonderful composition! I really like how you choose to freeze the water as opposed to showing it flow. The reflected light, the symmetry - all great stuff.
Here's number 3 of the series, it's an on-going series that I hope to continue for a while.

Very curious as to how you get all these cups. I keep thinking in my head that there is no way you are taking them out of the garbage, so my next thought is do you work at a coffee house?

Cool shot! I loved that place when I visited 5 years ago, and your photo instantly took me back to the sunrises there... I'll try to dig up one or two of my old shots and post them, too.
Seems like I recognize that place... even some of the boats...Newport, Oregon

Here's my contribution for the day. It's a chair in my basement. Nothing too exciting. Sorry for the enormous size. I don't know how to make it smaller other than using a thumbnail. I feel like I'm "that guy."

I'd recommend resizing the image you're linking to... to something 1024px wide or smaller. If that's not convenient, then in this case I'd just go with the thumbnail which we can click on to see the bigger version. Otherwise many of us have to scroll sideways to see the entire image.
Posting a 1920x1280 picture inline of a dirty chair... you are definitely that guy.
thank you both. Curiously enough, that particular photo is not my most favorite. It seems a bit too busy to me and is definitely burned out in some of that background. But a number of people have responded positively to it - which merely goes to show that I don't have a clue.
My own favorite is the first i posted a couple days back ... which I continue to tweak and improve in post
Well interesting point haha These cups are actually from classmates and one is my own. It's going to be a continuous series using peoples cups that aren't from the garbage haha. I made sure to ask them for the cups before they threw them away
