The new roof to the redeveloped King's Cross station. Need to take my wide lens there, this pic doesn't do it justice!

My first in a while. A shot of Little Trout Bay Conservation Area (on Lake Superior). Beautiful day, super sunny, and the ice is starting to go.

I've been super frustrated lately with my images. As I learn my new camera I am finding more and more of my images with soft focus or a little blurry. Hopefully I will get out of this 'blah' faze soon!

Ahh I understand now...thank you!

Recently I have been trying to get a better understanding of light and shadow to try and make shots more interesting, and trying to get to grips with lighting..its definatly not as easy as it looks :confused:

For me this shot has a good range from specular highlights to deep shadow, it definatly makes it stand out out...

I was thinking in term of lighting from the front...which is why i couldnt quite figure out the shadow were formed....now it makes more sense!!:):)

Glad I could help! I'm constantly looking at the light, looking for the patterns and reflections. One of the reasons I like shooting at night is because the light is much easier to see. I'm sure I look goofy when I wear my sunglasses as they are polarized and I'm constantly tilting my head back and forth to look at the effects. :p
