Just messing around with my new Tokina 12-24mm...
Just wish I would have opened it a little wider to catch all of her paws...

You could also have lowered the angle just a bit since there was room above her head. Sometimes going too wide brings in too much distortion and this focal length appears about right. And I'd bump up the blacks a bit to increase the contrast, but, I do like the moment and how you've caught her in the middle of enjoying a nice treat. She looks like a great subject (speaking as one dog lover to another... :))

NOTE: When you delete the picture from Flickr that you've linked to here, it's going to mess up all the posts that refer to it... just FYI.

Quick capture I got right outside of my house.

I hate to say this, but the image doesn't show. All I see is a Flickr sign saying "This photo is currently unavailable" ...

Part of the problem is probably the large aperture. I have trouble seeing a point that is in focus. Otherwise, I like the atmosphere of the shot…
Maybe crop most of the dark foreground out?
I guess this pic would have benefited from a grad ND filter. I don't own one myself, but just yesterday started looking into getting one, maybe.

I had to google "grad ND filter", now I'm intrigued.

I'm loving everyone's landscape photos!

I like your cow. The DOF is neat and the light is great too, plus she's pretty in that cow like fashion Looks like something to moo about! Well done. Barry

thanks. Here's a shot I've just come across from christmas. I was wasted when I took it and had forgotten about it! I recently processed it (it wasn't very straight!) and put it on flickr.
