Mine for today is a terrible photo, but an unusual experience: Found this hot air balloon as I walked out of Wal-mart, and went around the corner to the parking lot. I felt like I almost bumped into it, as it was passing by, just clearing the roof of the store. It was HUGE! (And noisy!) I hope they had a nice ride in the rain!
Taken with my iPhone. Although I bring the camera with me many places, I didn't bring it for a short trip to Wal-mart!
I led a landscape photography workshop over the weekend, so didn't take many pix myself. I've had a rather traumatic time lately, and this pic maybe suggests how I'd like to be feeling - calm and cool and green - rather than the way I am feeling...
+1 on both of those! So much really great stuff here over the last couple of days.
Here's mine for today. The Isabella Planatation in Richmond Park, SW London, is sensational at the moment. It was looking especially fresh this Saturday morning after some welcome rain. This photo shows some of that rain still on some fresh, new oak leaves.

I love the simplicity of this one. The framing is also really good.
A dead tree was cut down in my yard today. I thought a B&W treatment photo as it was being cut up would show off all the prickly branches it had on it.
