Squirrel Frenzy

A little late to the squirrel party, but I simply could not resist. It was almost like he was looking at me thinking, "What're you gonna do about it?"

Don't believe I have posted this one here, but if you follow me on Instagram you have already seen it as this was the photo I featured last week. I don't do much black and white so any comments/critics are very welcomed.

A long exposure from Sunday in the CBD. The clouds were all wrong, too thick and moving too fast, so I could only get this to 31 seconds maximum. I'm ambivalent about the reflection in this building too, I'll be back, yet again, soon, for attempt number 7 or 8... So just a quick treatment in Lightroom for it.

Thanks! This reminds me that I must watch the series "Dead Like Me" again. ;)

Just got back from a road trip that covered the Grand Canyon and Sedona in Arizona.

Great times were had. 1400+ photos were taken (I really need to learn to be more selective!). That should keep me occupied for a long time to come, sorting through them.

In the meantime, here's a quickie pano, stitched together from 9 shots.
The light was a bit harsh, but I did what I could with it.

Lots of rain last week, so Sunday I thought I'd go and take pictures around the raceways in Paterson . In the 19th cantury , Paterson was a substantial manufacturing city , with the mills powered by water from the Passaic River, supplied through a series of raceways . Anyway , got skunked , the raceways were pretty dry , but the falls were spectacular .

Hope that's a new camera and you can get it checked-out under warranty ASKendrew...it's got your steering wheel on the wrong side. :)

Think it's actually OK , he probably just flipped the negative ;)

Haha! Was waiting for somebody to mention the right hand drive :D!

Had another play with my new camera today, again sorry (not sorry!) for one of my car again , tried to add some sharpness in Photoshop and also added an action. Slow but steady!
