You get a like for the photo. But a thumbs down for liquorice. It’s disgusting!
Thumbs up for both - as I go to the cupboard and grab a packet of Fazer Salmiakki - though I've run out of Fazer Tyrkisk Peber.
Liquorice powder can be used to sweeten things - we often add a bit to cooking apple. Maybe vanilla extract and/or cardamom as well. In moderation, there is no noticeable liquorice taste, just a gentle sweetness. An excellent way of reduce sugar intake.
. Porridge is made with water, salt and oats with a bit of milk or cream to taste added after cooking. Glycyrrhizin is the sweet component of licorice root and is tens of times sweeter gram for gram than sugar.
