.. good on you .... would love to know a little more about 'how', and 'what' you've tried. Thanks! (if not appropriate here, in one of the food forums below)
My wife does them with the kids. It's really simple. I think it's just slicing them thin, putting a little salt on them, then baking them at really low oven temps (like sub-200F), flipping every 30 minutes to dehydrate. It takes FOREVER.
