I visited Maryhill Museum many, many years ago on a family outing when I was much too young to appreciate it (I was much more interested in the Gila monster we found on the grounds outside). My sister lived nearby in Goldendale for several years and I have always wished I would have taken that opportunity to go back to Maryhill as an adult.Théâtre de la Mode presents post-World War II French haute couture fashions on one-third life-size human mannequins. When it appeared at Louvre’s Museum of Decorative Arts in 1945, the Théâtre de la Mode opening drew 100,000 visitors. Now at the Maryhill Museum of Art in Washington State. A wonderful museum, it also hosts a full-size pseudo-replica of Stonehenge.
