i was busy taking pictures of the leaves and the pigeon landed on the wire so i took a few shots.

my favorite little coffee joint...

I played around with the lens correction tools in LR3 just for kicks... seems to work pretty well, with maybe a slight negative affect on sharpness.

Wonderful composition. I like the warm feel of the room. You managed to get great feel of DOF shooting at 2.8.

I like the colors and composition you used in this image.

Nice work from all for the new month.

Indonesian mythology

Another "nifty-fifty" shot -- this is a detail shot from a 2' x 4' wooden relief carving hanging on the wall over the head of my bed. This is part of an older Indonesian artwork carved from teak. The photo was converted to b/w and split toned in LR3. A moderate amount of grain added in LR3 to make it more filmlike.

Thanks Dale. It's a great, cozy little place with amazing coffee and lunches. :)

I really like the processing on this. You might want to dust it before taking pics though ;)

Any info on the rig?????

For that photo it was extended to 16 feet. Normally I have it set to 12 feet because 16 can get sketchy on certain cars.

Here it is (12 feet). The viper is a friends, the white one is mine. Just a standard setup (2 suction cups and super clamps, but the boom arm is modified)

Nice. Where was the rig attached? With all that chalk on the car, I can't imagine you had too many options.

Yeah the mounting was interesting. Mounted window to window (front glass to back glass) and the rig came out about 2-3 feet in front of the car.
