This is a nice image. I really like the colors in the pots, and the overall tones. Here, I'd suggest a slight crop from the top to about halfway between the "31" tile and the top of the overhead structure, and on the right side slightly to keep it proportional to the original aspect ratio. The bit of sky doesn't add anything to the photo. But, nice contribution to the thread. :)[/QUOTE]

Thanks, pdxflint! Yeah, right after I posted this I thought about cropping where you suggested. When I took the original photo (in Ravello, Italy) I had more sky and cropped down to where it is now. since then, I took a photo weekend course and learned a whole heck of a lot more. When it took this photo out to upload and looked at it after I submitted it-that was the first thought in my mind. I appreciate the feedback!:)

Some island I spotted half the way to Puerto Rico on vacation few weeks back. :)

I started windsurfing earlier this summer, so my interest in the sport grew a lot. So I decided a couple days ago to combine my two favorite hobbies; windsurfing and photography. More uploaded later as I process the photos (there were over 50 windsurfers and kitesurfers on a relatively small beach over here on Mallorca, so I filled up my cards very quickly). :p

First attempt at "wildlife"

My In-Laws' cat, S'mores sitting in her favorite box. Taken with my version of the "nifty fifty," a Yashica 50mm f1.9 with an adapter for my Canon.

Oh, and I love that shot Mastamarek!

Sorry, one more edit. Does anyone know how to pass through the EXIF Info through Flickr? The website has the info, but when its posts to the forum, it doesn't show up.

Thanks, nuwomb. It was an exhilarating hike, to say the least. Here's another one from that day:

Face to face…

Looks like a beautiful place, you've taken some brilliant shots, this is no exception. Can I ask where in CA is this?

Great shot, I really like the composition in different layers, the light background, the foggy middle ground (with the bonus of sheep :p) and the cool foreground.
