I really like this but I might have cropped off some of the water as I think the main focus should be on the buildings. The bright reflections take the focu off them too much in my opinion.

Though I don't have a TV, I sometimes watch a bit of sport on my Mac. But with slow broadband (I live 'in the sticks') the picture often 'stutters'. I took a few shots of the snooker... after a beer or two...

Yeah it was a very nice place, I would say they naturally grow there, this was in Glenorchy, New Zealand.

^^^^ Amazing! I wouldnt even know where to begin to take a photo like this. Could you describe the gear, settings, and technique involved?

This was taken with a 5D2 & 17-40L. I'm at work now so I don't have the EXIF in front of me, but we had plenty of time to capture these rolling shots so I tried shooting as low as 1/20th because I knew I'd have plenty of shots to work with. I underexposed the original by a stop to keep the sky detail.
In the post processing I brightened up the foreground and added a bit more flare to the sun using Knoll Light Factory. Some additional warmth was added to the photo and I played with the curves a bit. A sign and some power lines were cloned out also.
