Noticed as we came back from dinner my neighbor apple trees are near leafless and near full apples .. I’ve never seen them like that before, must be the dry weather

That's why fruits exist ;)

This little fella has decided to live on my bench!

One of the situational considerations we (of the ATL ilk) have faced over the past decade is that of the influx of the joro spider (Trichonephila clavata) into our environment.

The Joro is an apex-populator, and their growth and population have severely severely-impacted the populations of the other arachnids in our environment.

I became so inflamed with the objective observations of the inbability the occupiers of my Space (orb-weavers, and garden ("writing") spiders this past Summer, that I comprehensively (and compulsively) destroyed the [entire] joro population on my Property.

No Spider Left Behind.

That being said: it is my memory of running-through the night, wrapped in the being of these beautiful creatures that affirms my memory.

Unfortunately, it's been over seven years since I observed a regular orb-weaver on my Property.

Thank you for sharing.
