Well, it may not look it but I scrubbed 29 years of moss off that sign, took me an hour and a half, three different washes rinsing, use a gentle solution of OxiClean, then I went for a bike ride, came back and it looks OK. I’m gonna do one more scrubbing of it let it dry for two days and then re-stain it with a good oil base stain.
