If I hide a photo in the Photos app on my iPhone I can see it in the Hidden folder on both my iPhone and iPad, however I do not have a Hidden folder in macOS. If I hide a photo in macOS there is still no Hidden folder in the macOS Photos app, but the hidden photo does show up on my iPhone and iPad.

Bottom line, the Hidden folder is completely absent from macOS Photos.

I haven't used the hidden Photos feature before so I'm not sure if this behaviour is unique to macOS 26. Can anybody either confirm that it's working for them or that the Hidden folder is also absent? Is this a feature or bug?
