I mentioned to a friend that I had played around with Photos to produce a photo book project, but that I was holding off ordering it because it was a bit pricey. She kindly gave me an iTunes voucher as a birthday gift. So off I go to the Photos programme on OS X, get the photo book ready to purchase, enter in my iTunes account (which has the requisite credit available to purchase the photo book), and ... find out that one can only pay by credit card. Well, Apple, I do not use a credit card with iTunes. Instead I top up with iTunes gift cards so that in the event my account gets hacked, the potential damage is limited.
Perhaps I am clicking the buttons wrong, so if anybody has been able to figure how to use iTunes credit with Photos, then please let me know. It certainly isn't mentioned on the support pages, and of course they will not respond to my comments on this point because they prefer to be a faceless corporation.
As it stands now, this is just another instance of sloppy, half-assed Apple 'quality' that reminds me of the kinds of frustrations I used to have with Windows. I mean seriously, doesn't anybody at Apple use their own bloody software? W-T-F?
