anybody noticed a few features missing in photos app from ios 12? for example there are no related photos when I swipe down in photo, there is not an option to edit title style of the memories video or there are no songs when I want to pick some based on genre(alternative,downtempo,latin,metal,reggae), already provided a feedback but its still missing , I know its not important but i dont get why it was removed since I personally use it alot

there needs to be an option to let us change the key photo on our albums... I mean,its ridiculous that you cant do that in every album you create and you can only do it in wallpapers album or the people album... the damn code is in there, just copy paste it to every other album created... geez...

Can someone tell me what the icon in the top right corner of a picture stands for? It‘s a rectangle with a dashed line and a star on the top right side... and it‘s only visible on some images.

I'm on ios13 as developer and to be honest, I don't like it. I hate how it sorts the photos, and its constantly swiping me to the different columns when i try to point something out in a photo, or zoom in. They've removed the all photos from the albums page. I don't need the "for you" tab. I would rather have the ios12 version. It's a shame I "have to accept" the changes.

I sell things on Ebay and have albums for each sale category. Oh well...I had albums

What I don't get is why you still cannot sort the faces album alphabetically. That's a feature that was available in iPhoto and that Apple took away. Many of us by now have quite a lot of tagged faces and it is just inconceivable that Apple still doesn't offer this. It's the one reason that keeps me using Adobe Lightroom and Google Photo.

So no improvements on "people" and manually adding faces to photos that dont recognize a face automatically?

there also needs to be a way to tag people whose faces are obscured by masks, facing the wrong way, and so on - a zero-pixel circle would do, if they don’t want to special-case it.

What I don't get is why you still cannot sort the faces album alphabetically.

Being able to put people in groups would help too, e.g. family, home-town friends, work colleagues, and so on.

It would also be useful if, when you selected the related people in a face’s album it showed the photos those two faces were in: that would be particularly useful for people you don’t expect to see together because that probably means someone is incorrectly tagged.

I’ve submitted all those as feature requests years ago, but Apple don’t seem to think they’re useful.
