Is this one of those new waterproof headphone jacks we heard about a while back? The design looks similar; rather than traditional contact it has "pistons", and looks to be sealed...
Of course I realize that.
I had the white VZW iPhone 4. From normal use, the glass either gets opaque, or the white paint gets faded looking. On the black phone, you don't see this because it's black. It's why I returned it.
I'm more of a black > white
Yeah, it's the number one selling iPod model these days.aapl still makes iptouch?
It would the sales? I think you accidentally the whole thing.
I missed the word 'Touch' and wondered if I had either stumbled on an old iPod Classic rumor or if I was simply losing my mind. Trust me, I've wanted a vacation for a while now...
Now I really wish there was some word on the Classic, and I feel nostalgic.
Ugh!! This isn't quite the news I was hoping for. I keep waking up everyday, HOPING that when I pull up MacRumors I'll see a big, bold media event announcement on the front page. This is killing me. It's almost as agonizing as waiting on an HIV test result!
im actually in china right now. and they can confirm this rumor is true.

Seriously? A headphone jack? These "rumors" are getting out of hand.

As a matter of fact, Apple sells about two iPod touches for every three iPhones. The iPod touch demographic is much younger than the iPhone demographic (13-24 for the former, 25-49 for the latter), and as Steve himself has mentioned, the iPod touch is training wheels for the iPhone.
The iPod touch basically has no competition ever since Microsoft 86ed the Zune HD (which still didn't have real apps).
The next incredible growth spurt of the iPhone will likely come in 3-5 years, when current iPod touch owners graduate from school, get real jobs, then buy iPhones.
