I know you can't future proof but...

1) Is an iMac 20 inch screen too small for the future? I have no problems with the screen size but when I look back at the white 17 inch I think why, why not buy a laptop at that size.

2) I will probably sell one of the laptops (even with the comment in #1) macbook has a glossy screen, kinda cool with a new battery, it also needs more ram. I am leaning towards selling the macbook. All the MBP gpu stories made me stop and think a little. The only product currently for sale by apple that uses nvida is the MBP, is this correct?

I will report how much I sell which ever computer for.

sell the mac book.
heck you could even sell your imac. buy a second screen with the money and hook her up. (fyi, get something that has at least 100 pixels per inch, at least, and it will be close to the same quality as the mbp screen

Sell the Macbook.

All this nVidia GPU stuff is overblown balony, a high failure rate in GPU Production could be 30%, which is one out of 3, still not very high odds, im still gonna push mine to the max and OC it a little 😉

Thats what Microsoft said about the 360...look what happened!

It pains me to say this... toss the Pro, and keep the MB, and the iMac. The iMac can handle the lifting, you don't need a MBP for couch use.
