This is simply a logical guess here. Ours may come later in the day than those in further advanced timezones than us. I'm the same store as you and will post when I get something.

Thanks, I was thinking that too. Also our store is probably one of the busiest so it will take them longer to process all our orders.

I'd love to switch a 128 gb with a 64gb 6+ on Friday.

You think I'd find takers?

If so how should I go about it?

"Ready for Pickup"

tl;dr: "ready for pickup" means you can get it tomorrow morning.

Got the email earlier today, and my order status (iPhone 6) was "ready for pickup" at the SoHo Apple Store in NYC. Unfortunately, I couldn't get through to a human at the store to verify, so I went in person on the off chance it really *was* ready.

I was told by an Apple Store employee that it was "ready for pickup" - sitting on a shelf, ready to go - but not allowed to be fulfilled by Apple employees. They were very polite and apologetic, and this was something they'd just become aware of as an issue, so obviously poor communications from the corporate mothership.

I think any reasonable person would know that it's ready for pickup, but on release day. But I guess in our society, you must be very specific in the words you chose.

I finally got the email from apple. I'm going to pick up my iphone tomorrow at the Apple store in Altamonte spring, Florida ;)

it says ready for pickup on SEPT 19, not today. reading and comprehension of what you are reading is complicated

It's OK you're not the only one! Hang in there

I'd do that, what store are you going to? What carrier/color is your 6+?

I doubt we are in the same area. I have a space grey +. I was just wondering how to go about it at the store location where I was picking up.

I need a 64. I have a 4s 32 and I was a gig from being full after 2.5 years with that thing. I know 128 is too much.
