The manager at W14th street says they have not acknowledged any pick ups yet for iPhone 6/6+.

is there a general consensus on whether it would be better/faster to line up first thing in the morning versus trying to go later on in the day, maybe around 5pm? I have a pre-order waiting for me

I was thinking the same thing. I think I will go around 10 am after the morning rush but before the lunch rush. And if it' swamped, I go back late afternoon but before 5 o'clock rush. People will be going after work I would think.

FYI, got my "ready for pickup tomorrow" email at 1:42 p.m. EST today for my AT&T iPhone 6/64 gig/gold (NYC Soho store).

My order just changed to ready for pickup and I got the email at almost the exact same time. I'm picking up at the 5th Ave store NYC.

Question if anyone knows... On my Apple Store Online order status page, it says "Ready for Pickup - Please Pick Up By September 28" ... will they really hold it for TEN days?

Reason I asked is because I have 2 to pick up, 1 at one store and 1 at another. I really don't want to deal with two mob "experiences" in one day, would rather just wait until Monday or Tuesday. Since the online order page says please pickup by September 28, is that safe to assume that I CAN pick it up Monday or Tuesday instead of tomorrow?

Call the stores and ask. They wouldn't put the 28th if they didn't mean it.

I even posted the pic.

You will get an email before the store opens. My iPad Air email arrived 30 minutes before the store opened.
