its a good phone. the size for texting is a little small since I'm used to the 6plus/6s plus. but the phone itself is great. considering i mostly use my phone for pandora and checking emails i don't mind the smaller size. and the battery life is way better. now i know why people like it so much. since i have an iPad as well the smaller screen doesnt bother me. and its a lot lighter. i might just make this my main phone.

I got mine few days ago and i am loving it,the battery life is great.this thing even outlasted my iPhone 6s plus in terms of battery life :D

Im literally on the phone with apple support trying to fix the battery issue with my 6S. The SE is becoming more and more appealing. The 5/5s/SE is and always will be the best form factor (totally subjective of course)

The fact that the (external) design is from 2012 makes it bad or strange in some way?

everyone has their opinion. but since the internals are a 6s (other than the front camera) thats kind of a comment thats superficial.

I've been using my SE much more recently than my 6s. It really helps that my SE can get through a whole day on a charge. My 6s can't do that (even though iOS 10 PB2 is installed).

I like it too. Hoping it gets a price drop with the 7 launch, I amy pick one up for myself and use it solely for running/biking/gym. 6S plus is a little unweildy for those purposes.

this is true. i have an arm band that fits it. but the 6s plus wont work for that. way to big to go running or biking.

Different strokes for different folks. For me, once I've used the 5.5 inch device, I can never go back to the smaller screen device. I've actually played the SE at the Apple store and it's not for me. I just can't stand a small device. However, I do have the 6th gen iPod touch, so I will use that for my fitness needs.

Ahhhhh the ol 2012 design dig as if it is some sort of an issue. Cause, ya know, we all need pull out the newest truest iphone to establish our status/street cred o_O
People have their own priorities. Yes, there are those who dislike the SE because it looks very much like the 5S and when in social situations, pulling an SE out will cause others to think that is a 5S. The person will be ridiculed for having such an old phone. They'll be social outcasts. Pariahs. They'll be relegated to spending their Saturday evenings following the instagram feeds of their (now ex-) friends' exploits, wondering why they bought the SE.

Yes, there are people for which this is a concern.

i understand. but i exercise a lot and i like to bike ride. so sometimes the smaller device I've noticed makes a big deal.

I have a flip belet (flipbelt.com) and it works well for these purposes, but the phone is still bulky.I ocassionally use my sons phone when he isn't aware (lol) and it's perfect for fitness IMO.

If the iphone 7 turns outto be what leaks are suggesting, the SE is going to be the best phone Apple releases this year lol.

Lol I am not sure how to respond because part of me sees absolute immaculate sarcasm, but another part of me believes these people actually do exist. I think I will tuck my tail between my legs and just walk away from this one ;)

Same here, I'm staying with plus iphone models from now on.
I just like the big screen and never going back to smaller devices.
I exercise a lot also but I use an ipod nano.
I dont like to be distracted with a phone on me while trying to work out. Just plain music blasting and focusing on the weight.

Same! I doubt that the price will drop, but that would be wonderful. Then again, if the 7 is super cool and has the same form factor....... that would complicate things. :D

There is a small chance that if the iPhone 6se is something I don't need since I only plan to use iPhones for mostly camera anyway, I probably will get SE just to save nearly a couple hundred bucks. Maybe even 5s to save even more.

$500 iPhone 5se (64gb)
$650 iPhone 6se (32gb)

I don't really care for better rear design or smaller screen. Just save that $150+. Then buy another smartphone next year like a Nokia Android or a $199 Moto G4 which went for $125 on Amazon Prime recently.

I am becoming more obsessed with Motorola and Nokia again, the pioneers and masters of reception and durability. Nokia Android is something I look forward to soon. Both OG's offer good value.

It seems to make more sense to buy the SE but I don't want to experience home button hell again pressing home just to exit apps.

SE v 6se

5 special edition
+ cheaper by $150
+ highest rated SOT
+ more storage, 64gb
+ better rear design
+ 3.5mm headphone jack

6 special edition
+ faster, newer A10 chip
+ "4.7 ("4.5 is my minimum)
+ water/dust resistance
+ dual stereo speakers
+ wireless charging
+ capacitive home button
+ better ergonomics (rounded sides)

About 90% still leaning toward 6se but haven't closed the door completely on SE to save a couple hundred bucks. Either way, the SE and 6se will be the final models of their respective design series (5 & 6).

I'm assuming this is a joke. Because no one I know is bothered by such infantile reasoning.
