I'm here again now. What a PITA! I'll update in a few mins. But it seems like UPS loses a lot of packages.
I've had so many packages lost by them that I can't even count them, FedEx on the other hand has never lost one for me....Apple needs to use them again

Picked up from UPS store. Pretty long line there I counted about 12 iPhones that were ready for pick up

This thing is gorgeous!

It's syncing from backup now.
[doublepost=1474039126][/doublepost]I just realized what UPS stands for: U Poor Saps

Haha

Just picked up mine at UPS CC. No line and it was very quick. Going to do this for future orders as well.

Glad I chose Black - looks great. Restoring from backup and repairing watch. Hopefully done in the next hour!

Don't forget, you have to sync you watch and update it if you didn't already and your car if it has Bluetooth!

I think it's gonna be a good while.

Probably closer to two hours haha. My apps are still reloading and 10.0.1 is installing as well. Already paired my watch, that seemed the longest.

yea, it does take a while. Apple should allow syncing of the watch to iTunes via wifi and back up that way, too. Less of a hassle.

Almost done. Also have to install 10.0.1 and setup my two factor authentication services (google authenticator, duo security) again. Found out those don't restore from backup which is probably good for security reasons.

Also have to install any profiles again... those don't transfer from backup.

man I posted in this thread that I never have issue redirecting my UPS packages but here we stand and my tracker says its been at the CC since 5am and the redirect was successful but yet it has not been put on a truck for delivery.

SIgh

Picked mine up about 5 minutes after the CC opened. The ladies working there said that the line for pick up will be two hours long later this evening. Glad I was able to go this morning!

I'm sure it will be at my local one too. even through all the hassle, it was worth it.

Mine delivered to the UPS store across the street from my house! Worked like a charm. Next time I'll have the Hub/CC hold it.

A UPS Store will usually add an extra day if it's not one of those shipping/receiving hubs or whatever they are called. Be careful if you want it on launch day. I'm sure someone else will know the name for the locations that don't cause an extra day to be added.

I ship every single package whether it comes from UPS, FedEx or USPS to my local UPS "retail" store down the street from my house. Never once added a day. They receive, scan items in, I get my notification and go pick it up...always same as delivery date.

Just sharing my experience and I would highly recommend sending it there.
