Tried the whole “take a picture in direct sunlight”. Was surprised how well it came out. Seems in good light the camera is great. Low light however, yuck!

Gorgeous photos on this thread. I'm amazed every day at the photo capacities of iPhone X.

Nice photo. Was that from an X or Xs? I had a hard time getting a good photo with my iPhone 6 Plus. There was too much cloud cover when I went and all my photos (from the iPhone 6 Plus) ended up looking blown out without serious correction.

Thanks ! Yours is very nice, too.
That was from my iPhone X and (I checked before posting) fresh off the device, no edits. I had quite strong backlight when I went there but fortunately there were some scattered clouds. And the smart HDR did the rest.

I actually found myself looking for situations with backlight because I knew the iPhone can now handle those pretty well, and the effects can be very nice.
