I installed the beta iOS 9

So far the only site in Safari pip works is the porn site xvideos, YouTube web doesn't work

Doesn't work in any other app but the "videos" app, not even in the trailers Apple app

It works with YouTube videos embedded in a forum thread but not the actual YouTube site

PIP works really well with FaceTime too. iPad Air 1 here.

Nope, not kidding! I was FaceTiming someone yesterday and needed to look at the calendar, and it moved to PIP when I pressed the home button.

The PIP can also be resized to one of three sides by pinching to zoom.

It seems to work for any video in Safari that goes 'full screen' (Youtube doesn't, as you can still see the address bar!), you'll then see a little icon in the bottom right next to the 'minimise' arrows. Seems to work really well.

Good to know but what about other apps , is this something they have to update or is Apple not allowing it on other apps ?

When you look at the Apple presentation you see that they mention that apps (and maybe also video websites if you don't use e.g. YouTube app) need a small update to support e.g. Slide Over so i think this is also the case with PIP.

Apple finally add this feature from Galaxy series +1

I agree that Samsung had the feature first however It is more functional on ios. For example on samsung devices it only works with the stock video player. Already on iOS it works with the video player, FaceTime and videos through safari. I didn't use the stock video player when I used galaxy devices so it wasn't useful to me at all.

PIP is not supported on iPhone 6/6+ as far as i know. It's an iPad only feature available as of iPad Air and iPad mini2.
