Boy's toy driving through Mother Nature's violated slit. :D

Freudian humour!!!
Sigmund was a pervert.

Some people drive their cars into a tree. I got to drive mine through it. No deeper meaning than that.

Freud was a genius. I'm just sad to see that some people are STILL too sexually uptight, because then they just see the sexual tones (a dilemma they must first overcome in their own life) and ignore the pure brilliance behind the whole offering.

Great shot! I'd rotate it 90° to the right, though.

I've read this five times and I don't know what you're saying. The original comment about "Mother Nature's Slit"--humor or no humor--was in truly bad taste. There are places to voice such musings, but I would hope this is not one of them.

There is a time and a place for everything, but not everything and everytime is that place. The dilemma we face is figuring out what is and is not appropriate at any given time and place.

Good idea. I didn't think about rotating it, was probably too late at night :)

On the photo posted yesterday, I noticed that in Firefox on my PC the faces are slightly more red and the yellow wall is slightly more orange than in PS. Weird.

Just found a solution to the "colors look different in firefox" problem. Link

Thanks. That plugin is great because one can easily whip out an effect and paint it on or erase it off selectively...

I'm curious, and an editing n00b to boot - what plugin?? (I really liked the pic, by the way.:) )

Took this picture of one of my fish the other day using my 20D and the 18-55 at F5.6, ISO 100, 1/100 shutter speed and using a 420EX flash.

Wow, awesome looking fish and very ntural looking surroundings (some aquarums look so tacky). Great pic to boot.

Thanks. I try to keep the tank very 'river' like. Not too much light, lots of natural places for the fish to hide or retreat. Some plant matter which is at least real (and fake too but not all) and above all, lots of drift wood. Water is tinted somewhat (tea coloured) due to the drift wood and live plants but its actually beneficial for them.

Took this shot of a really little guy (about 1 1/4" long) as well. Same lense but at higher ISO. I think it was either 200 or 400... gotta check again.

Thanks.

I used the Nik Color Efex pro 2.0 plugged into Photoshop CS2. It gives one lots of effect options. I'm pretty new to editing, too. Just jump in and learn what you need to as you go. There are tons of free tutorials online. Google what you need.
