A photo from last month’s trip to Chamonix and a local brew that’s quite nice.

Can't fault your palate at all, sir; two superb choices.

I hope they went down well.

They were excellent indeed! It had been a while since I had a Chimay. I let my wife have a sip, and she downed near half the glass. I had to go and get two more bottles this morning so she can have one for herself while watching the football games this afternoon

Chimay is brilliant; and the 'reserve' version you posted is not one I have ever come across before, (must keep an eye out for it), so I have small doubt that your wife more than half downed it - I'd have done the same myself.

And, of course, - but naturally - you had to get two more bottles this morning; that is what comes when assigned the role of "good and thoughtful husband".

Enjoy the football and the beers.

I think this is the one you've just mentioned. It looks delicious as well if not even more so..

So I misspoke ... I want one though. ;)

Yes, my beverage of choice last night was the second of the two pictures you posted.

And yes, if you like rich, robust, luscious, beautifully balanced (and quite alcoholic) Imperial Stouts - and I do - you will most certainly like this beer.

Mind you, "Old Rasputin" also looks quite tempting.

I am one of the investor partners. I help out where/when I can. :)

Awesome. Nice job on the names and logos for the various products.

I was just up in Pittsburgh, great beer culture up there, hit up several locals, and a new Southern Tier that opened in the city. We ever make it out to your neck of the woods (in DE), your brewery definitely on the list.

I'm there pretty much every day for a few hours. Let me know somehow before you come and I'll be sure to hook you up. It's a shame you can't come for our limited can release next month. Two great flavors. :)
