I was born and raised in a coal mining area, but only today I discovered this one (local brewery).
"Kompel" is a Dutch word for a coal miner.
The "Bovengronds" (Dutch for above ground level) is blond, the "Ondergronds" (Dutch for below ground level) is brown.
High fermentation and refermented in the bottle.

Yeah, I dont know what the deal is with that post. It took a while for me as well - I usually post to the forum using Tapatalk, and sometimes it has issues with Macrumors.

a bit strange but nice. And I'm a sucker for porters and stouts.
Very peculiar indeed; not sure I'd fancy it as a beverage, still less as an ideal porter.

By the way, @mobilehaathi - almost anything by Buxton is worth tracking down.
But, agreed, the Trolltunga is something special. A favourite of mine, as well.
