Any dyno sheets? What was the [front] wheel HP (from the dyno)? (That's what I was asking above)

No (apparent from your interior photos) boost/AFR gauges?

No. I don't have any dyno sheets in hand. Those photos are from three years ago upon the auction purchase. The modifications were added in the last 18 months. Being you seem to be questioning me, I will gladly obtain any info specs and post it. I have no qualms in my claims.

However, I did ask specifically what you have worked on and or back history of your previous post.

And fwd. my SS was the true SS with rwd.

Did you have the 94-96 Impala SS(police package Caprice) or the recent Holden Commodore badged as the SS?

I have a real soft spot for both cars, although it's a shame that the 94-96s tend to have lived a hard life and are often "thugged out" for lack of a better term. A friend's dad had a 96 he bought new and kept about 4 years, but of course it's long gone.

I've wrestled with buying a new one, although with the model ending it's not going to happen unless I pick up one used down the road. Make mine a 6 speed manual in "Regal Peacock Metallic Green"(or British Racing Green to me :) ) and we can talk :) . Chevy is blowing them out at serious discounts now, but it's really more than I want to spend on a car now(I'm in the beginning stages of restoring a 1958 MGA) and the manuals are thin on the ground.

The other option to get the "experience" for a lot less money but not the power or options is to wait for police departments to start phasing out the Caprice. I know the Kentucky State Police have a bunch of them, although I've not seen many other agencies around here with them-a lot are still getting by on aging Police Interceptors or have transitioned to the Dodge Charger.

The Police Caprice in my area has been widely dumped and it seems most have drawn towards the Ford Explorer Interceptor and Dodge Charger. I'm not entirely sure what happened with the Caprice, but I rarely ever see them. And I know some Departments are contracted with Ford and Dodge when they upgrade after so many miles accrued.

White is just so clean on a car. Did you trade/switch from a G35? ;)

Yeah, I seriously considered going with Oxford White with the Redline Interior that's a beautiful, classic combo (I did still go Redline on the interior, love me some red interior, but went with the opposite exterior color :D)

Yeah, a buddy of mine had one (he's a fan of big 4-doors, currently pursuing a Charger Hellcat). The LT1 was a terrific motor, so much aftermarket available (and good prices with things like heads, cams compatible across the SS, Camaro, Corvette).

I just don't understand all the mystery, come to the car thread, we all post extensive photos and details of our cars, builds, updates, etc. If I had a bad, turbo'ed SS, I'd have lots of photos, dyno sheets, maybe even some actual track times.

I'm not denying it's what you say it is, I'm just surprised no photos and whatnot :)

I can understand your reasoning. But paging through this 16 page thread, it's not very extensive beyond mainly photo's and claiming what someone allegedly modified to their vehicle without heavy discussion, which other car forums are far more in detail than a car thread on Macrumors. My claims are valid, I just don't have the requested information accessible at the moment. Anyways, I don't want to stay off topic and moving on to back to discussing cars. Thanks.

No problem, look forward to hearing more about it when it comes out of storage.

Fortunately, around here, there's no need for winter weather storage (I had my top down yesterday :D)

For the record, there are two Car threads on here. (This one: Post a picture of your Car) and then the other one "The Car thread" (I Wasn't aware of that one and never posted There).

Not many forum members posted much about modifications on here after paging through 16 pages, being its primarily pictures. Discussing modifications would be more appropriate for the "Car Thread."

That said, since you decided to establish some form of questioning my Car's enhancements/Modifications, I have that information/photo's on the way (With the exception of track times) to debunk your questions.

Also, on the spectator side of things, the SS will be pulled out of storage and on a trailer headed to the Columbus Show to stage in Mid March for the one of many car shows I will be attending. Perhaps that would suffice to your suspicions if you're in the greater North Central area. See for yourself.

Furthermore, you're not in the position to be questioning me and My vehicle modifications in the manner you were, as if I have reason to hide something. Perhaps being less intrusive next time without interrogating me would have not provoked this response. I have nothing to prove to you. It's a community forum for pictures and discussion, which I answered. I don't agree with your approach at all. I know this is coming off Defensive, but it's the internet and any one can post anything without reason or validation. I believe the Photo's of My SS speak for them self.

Yep, that's the reason I started The Car Thread a couple of years ago :D

Hahaha, wow, well, there's nothing to debunk, as I didn't assert anything, I just asked a couple of simple questions, heck, I wasn't even negative towards your car like some other folks. You posted a few photos and a HP figure that is clearly way beyond stock, so I asked what's the deal (with a link to Wiki in case anyone wondered why I was asking). You say you've got a turbo, and link to a system for your car, cool, any pics? "No." Oh, well any dyno sheets? "No." What are you doing for gauges (as I didn't see any)? "Those are old photos".

It's not like it's beyond belief to have a bolt on turbo kit, I found it pretty interesting (I've been around FI for some time, tuned OEM, aftermarket, etc., in fact, I have plans for FI for my GT). Seems cool, I don't get what you're all spun up about, in fact, I see you edited your original post to be more defensive. Relax, post some additional photos, post in The Car Thread where I made a friendly invite to come share about your setup, that's where all us car fanatics talk

OK, I'm off on a family trip!

Some *great* photos above, not just the subject matter, but really good photography!

Put on the performance winter tire set just in time. Got some nice snow last night. Got up before the crews could plow the back roads and got some hoonage done.

Much giggles were had.

That looks like ridiculous fun - and [also] one of the reasons I often cite when people say "Why an RS over a Mustang GT?". AWD POWA!!

You got that right. AWD turbo goodness is hard to beat. Don't get me wrong - love RWD cars (had a couple of M3's), but for an all season car AWD is hard to beat.

She is currently custom tuned. She put out 357 awhp & 404 ft lbs trq. Plan on building the engine and upgrading the turbo next winter. Shooting for 500 awhp/trq!

Nice. Someone on the Mustang 6G forum has one, tuned as well, about the same numbers. The RS feels so - for lack of better terms - focused. :D It's tight and immediate, that can be really fun (I had a Z3 and an S2000, same "feel"). You should post in The Car Thread, it's a better place for car talk vs. the more picture oriented focus (I can't stop ...) here.
