'15 BMW i3 REx - bought certified preowned last Summer with just over 10,000 miles on it.
For those unfamiliar, the i3 is an electric car, the REx model is the "Range Extender" model that basically has a small BMW motorcycle engine tucked in there with a small 2.4 gallon gas tank whose sole purpose is to recharge the battery like house backup generator. It isn't connected to the wheels at all. So even in California, it counts as a "full electric car." By default, the range extender won't even kick on until the battery is empty (<6%,) although with some coding, you can unlock it so you can turn it on earlier to hold a certain level of battery charge. Which is much more useful on road trips.) Mine has the earliest/smallest battery, gets 60-80 miles per charge the way I drive. The 2017-2018 models have a 50% bigger battery, and the 2019 model has twice the battery of mine.
Rear wheel drive, powertrain is in the back, in front of the axle, so "mid-engine," carbon fiber body, near-perfect 50/50 weight distribution. It just looks like a grown up Mini Cooper. (But very roomy inside, considering - it has no tunnel, so the floor is completely flat inside.) It's also bigger than it looks - it has the profile of a tiny car, but it's quite tall (but still low center of gravity thanks to battery pack being right next to the road,) and while it looks short in length, it's barely shorter (one foot) than my Subaru Forester, with a wheelbase two inches
longer, while being a couple inches wider. And yes, the rear doors are suicide doors.
The dash pic was taken after a road trip - got home with one mile of electric range to spare, gas tank empty. (I planned the last few miles such that I passed multiple public chargers and gas stations had I needed it, and the last 2 miles were almost all downhill, so as I was passing the last charger, I knew I'd make it home.)
