Pictures folder and iPhoto...

Hope I don't frustrate ye as newbie here. Two questions - all this right clicking (which was v helpful on last windows comp), mouse doesn't have a right click?

If its an apple mighty mouse (hah!) you need to set it up in System Preferences > Mouse . Otherwise it should right click out of the box, at least my wired microsoft one does.

Secondly & more importantly, all the photos I've uploaded onto iPhoto over the past few months, I can't view some of them, it seems to be random but they appear on the page just blackened out with a broken line as a border. This is happening in my photos & slideshows?

Sounds to me like they didn't import correctly and are corrupt .I presume this is consistent, eg picture 'X" is always like that, and picture 'Y', never ?

I can now right click.

Not sure it's an import issue as e.g. 25 photos all import, yet after a few months, a few of the photos just have empty squares where they used to be i.e. their title is just there now yet the rest of the photos are crystal?

Right-click on the empty photos and Revert to Original.
