Both colors look good. I'm more drawn to the Jet Black. It looks very Apple-esque and reminds me of the good ole' days with the glossy white MacBooks.
I like them both. JB is the newer kid on the block so I went with that, but can easily see myself picking matte Black next year. It's been a longer time since we've had a glossy "jet black" iPhone (namely the black iPhone 3G/3GS and black iPhone 4/4s) than matte black (Black and Slate iPhone 5).
Jet Black is the hot girlfriend, Matte Black is your attractive wife.
I prefer Matte/Brushed over Glossy/Polished in general, and same here.

I have picked the Jet Black 7+, my partner picked the Black 7+, once we get them we will see which one likes which really, and both are great colours.

Okay so that was a joke, but we've had both glossy "jet black" and matte black iPhones so they're not exactly new colors.
I vote this post of the day.
And to take it a bit further, the matte black will probably look better in a year and the jet black might look a little used and abused...
Matte black looks so professional and stealthy.

Matte just looks so smooth. Never been a fan of any shiny tech. I always prefer a matte finish.
Apple also had glossy "jet black" iPhones, namely the black iPhone 3G/3GS and black iPhone 4/4s. Funny how people are forgetting these.
They surely looked good in the beginning but not so much after one or two years.
+1 I think I would be bored of the Jet Black in a year, and I try to think longer term (3-5 years).
Should have called it Stealth Black. Looks sick!
Don't understand all the posts, in which it seems as if one is trying to justify their purchase....or bash another color or size, to make their choice seem better.
Same thing happened with the 5S "ugh gold is gonna look stupid and cheap, glad I got the space gray model. Gold users are gonna regret buying it"
Then it happened again in 2014. "Ugh, a 5.5in iPhone is stupid. 4.7 is gonna be so much better. Glad I got that one. 5.5 users are gonna regret their decision"
Then it happened last year with the rose gold color. "Smh, guys are actually getting rose gold?!? Must be gay or something. Glad I got silver, it's gonna look better"
Can't wait to see what next year's war will bring
