my pictures are right side up when posted to facebook.. Apple fixed the problem?

Probably Facebook fixed Apples problem, i.e. they rotate the images according to the TIFF orientation data that comes with the photo.
Just figured out an easy way to fix this problem if you happen to have one of these photos on your Mac and want to make sure whoever you send the photo sees it with correct orientation. Open it up with Preview, rotate few times with Cmd-L and save. That will overwrite the orientation metadata.
I too have this problem. I took a picture with the phone in landscape orientation, volume buttons on top. The picture is right side up when viewing on the phone. However, when I email that same photo to my mom (who uses AOL) from my gmail account, she says it comes through upside down. I double check this in my gmail, in sent mail, by clicking on VIEW next to the picture thumbnail, and sure enough, its upside down. The thumbnail is rightside up. Strange.
