Pilots report UFO over O'Hare?

I didn't find the mechanic's report all that compelling (full of typos, too!), and while the History Channel did a good run about alien references throughout history (and within the Bible), I think the majority of people will be skeptics until some aliens decide to land and kill us all (a la the bad Spielberg WotW movie; the original book was better). Ultimately, you have to question: why would some other species travel thousands of light years just to watch us? Columbus didn't sail across the ocean just to say 'oh here's a nice place; let's go home now.' But for everyone who says there are no aliens out there, I would highly recommend watching this. Bad music, but very humbling.
I'm amused by the choice of picture. Instead of just choosing to use no pic, they pulled one out of their files. The only relevance I can see is that the sign is UFO shaped.
My guess is some Air Force test pilot decided it would be funny to fly his über secret URAV over O'Hare to see if it really works.
The Pentagon, not your everyday govt but the ones with clearences above top secret. If they arent covering it up then what has happened to all the film from people like Gordon Cooper who Testified before Congress on this subject? Or why is the information released from our govt through the freedom of information act all blacked out? I have said it before there is evidence thats kept secret and has been for over 50 years. Our Govt isnt about to upset the world religions and society by saying to everyone by the way there are Aliens who's technology is as above ours as ours is above caveman. You want to look at the best cases look at the ones involving the Military and Police and look at the spin machines in action afterwards.
Columbus reported strange dancing lights in the sky when sailing to America. Thats documented history, just as the Air Force saying it had a captured " Disc" only to later call it a weather balloon. How does one go from Disc to weather balloon and this was a officer that served at the worlds only Nuclear base at the time. The spin machines are on full cycle when it comes to this subject matter.

UFO simply means Unidentified Flying Object, nothing more. I believe the government works on new technologies for planes that probably look alien.
I personally don't think aliens would use "discs" anyway. Not sure why I feel that way except for aliens using them is too obvious. We know we can't really make discs fly like that so aliens must use them because their technology allows them to....

If Apple accidentally leaked some pics of a PowerBook G5 a year before the release, wouldn't they try to write it off as an internal joke or the one and only (failed) prototype?
So you've got some über secret vehicle that can silently fly into Osama bin Laden's bedroom and administer a lethal injection, then engage optical camouflage to sneak into Kim Jong Il's secret bunker to snap pictures of his nuclear blueprints, then really quickly launch up to space and dock with the ISS... the list goes on. Wouldn't you try to cover it up in any way possible?
They cover up a lot of things.
Why scare the general public with front page news of "UFO CONFIRMED: 'Yes, what you saw was an alien spacecraft'"? I can think of lots of reasons to cover this up, one of them to keep the crazies/certain religious types from coming out of the wood-work.
The funny thing about this "weather phenomenon" excuse is that pilots have seen all sorts of weather. They work in the sky! More than one pilot saw it. If this was just some strange weather phenomenon caused by light shining through clouds, I'd expect airport employees to recognize it a bit more accurately than the average Joe, and if not airport employees, then at least the numerous pilots who fly the skies all the time.
I'm not sure if I believe this particular sighting, but I'm more inclined to believe it than disbelieve it. If intelligent life were found on other planets, I'm sure we'd be observing them as well. Of course, as humans, we probably wouldn't be patient enough and just go over there and invade after 15-20 years of observation, but my point still stands.

Maybe the aliens came down to check on how we are doing.. they saw the mismanagement of air traffic at O'Hare and took off! Although, I can swear that I saw a UFO over Hollywood Blvd in broad daylight (way up in the sky.. no clouds.. it was a beautiful day) It wasn't a disc.. it was a proper craft-type shape.. and it just hovered for a couple of minutes. In a second, it was gone.. and I couldn't quite explain how the bloody hell it did that.
On a side note, maybe the aliens should come down again and 'beam up' Bush

I tried to convince them that I had another computer that was really cool and sophisticated but they didn't believe me and only laughed at my PC!

True, If you have researched the "better" documented cases many times scouts are observed around and near and out from another vehicle. My suspicions is such an occurrence. Its being reported now that some govt agencys are retelling their tales. Olbermann on MSNBC.
Just look at digg.com in the past day, something fell thru someone's house, something broke up in the atmosphere... there's definitely stuff going down this week. The question is, is it alien technology, man made top secret technology, or freak coincidences?
