My dad has spotted a few UFO's over the years. Quite strange too, got talking to a lecturer at uni and he said he has seen strange things in the same area. Must be a hot spot or whatever. Years later Google brought up a couple of accounts. It's only a tiny lake/foresty area too, hardly anything massive. I think I've seen 2, one with a friend (I also saw a ghost-like thing with another friend, which was weird).

Not O'Hare either :p

Resistance is futile.
In essence you may 100% correct, what could we do facing an advance more intelligent species that could be many centuries ahead of us in technology. What could we do? Perhaps this is at the root of the govts coverup of this subject because there isnt anything they can do.

For some interesting reading for those interested if you go to that link on the first page I posted for ufo evidence. org look at the cases from the 50s and 60s. These are before photoshop was invented and many police and military sightings.

By the way, to those of you tempted to block the alien mind control signals by wearing an alumin(i)um foil helmet, it has been proven that such helmets actually amplify certain frequencies - http://people.csail.mit.edu/rahimi/helmet/

Abstract
Among a fringe community of paranoids, aluminum helmets serve as the protective measure of choice against invasive radio signals. We investigate the efficacy of three aluminum helmet designs on a sample group of four individuals. Using a $250,000 network analyser, we find that although on average all helmets attenuate invasive radio frequencies in either directions (either emanating from an outside source, or emanating from the cranium of the subject), certain frequencies are in fact greatly amplified. These amplified frequencies coincide with radio bands reserved for government use according to the Federal Communication Commission (FCC). Statistical evidence suggests the use of helmets may in fact enhance the government's invasive abilities. We speculate that the government may in fact have started the helmet craze for this reason.

Join the collective, bring us your integrated graphics cards eh Don't Hurt Me?

To be honest if it's a toss up between joining some alien-led chain gang to build monuments to some three-headed deity or becoming one of those beardy nut jobs living in an aluminium-foil-lined bomb shelter with thousands of cans of baked beans you can chain me to the front of the closest big rock and I'll start pulling.

Those alien geeks are completely bonkers - spending their whole lives preparing for an invasion only to realise when the invasion comes they'll have no lives to live because they'll always be hiding from the big eye thing on the end of a tube. I might get mashed into goo but at least I'll be some goo that's had intimate relations with more than one real flesh and blood woman.

Take off the tin foil hats and go get some sun for crying out loud.

Turns out more people saw the o"hare UFo here are two more photo's again from a cell phone but from a different vantage point.

And the other, sorry I reversed them. By looking at the three different set of pictures from 3 different witnesses its clear all the photo's show the same type of object. Its to bad cell phones dont have better camera's with zooms. Here's the link where the employee posted.http://www.ufocasebook.com/twomoreohare.html

Why is it again that the government has some compelling need to cover this up? Also, don't forget "the government" is a lot of people-- in many cases, people just like you and me. Are "they" in on it too?

More then that. The US Government has jurisdiction over only a small part of the planet. I assume that if these UFOs are of extraterrestrial origin they would be distributed more or less evenly all around the Earth and not just in the USA. So then not only is the US government working to cover this up but it most be cooperating will ALL of the other governments too. Imagine that, finally one thing all nations can agree on and not one low-level government employe leaks any info in 50 years. Couldn't happen.

The other side of it is that this implies some pretty stupid aliens You know how long it would take to get here and how much effort is involved? and then what do they do once they get here?

Here very well may be probes sent by other civilizations. THe best way to explore the universe would be to send out a few self-replicating probes. The galaxy could be full of probes even if the civilizations that sent them are long gone.

That's what they want you to think. The whole world's run by some shadowy secret government, see. They might even be lizard aliens themselves, or something...

We can whip you up a nice tinfoil hat, if you like. :) ;)

You're forgetting about mind control. In fact I'm forgetting about mind control.

What were we talking about?

Liar! Ahhh it's the fish eggs again! Get OFF!
Dont you mean fish heads fish heads rolly polly fishheads?

I still think the govt response to all these folks who reported this is a hoot, on one hand we have Light Bright signs hanging in Boston and it shuts down the city and they want to prosecute the sign makers, on the otherhand we have something floating in controled airspace over a major airport and the response is....No response:confused:  Dept of Homeland Security.
