Restarting both devices fixed my issue. This is the second time I had to do that so it appears the functionality breaks and a power cycle fixes it

Has anyone else noticed if the iPhone is on the 'ping my phone' works, it sends the sound to the iPhone.
However the second you turn off the phone it no longer works...... Which rather negates the reason for having it.
Thus it must be a bug in ios9.

updated to watch os2 and iOS 9.0.1. This hasn't fixed the issue for me though. Have tried all the other fixes as well. Seems like a bug. Very inconsistent. Anyone got anything new to try?

Resurrecting an old thread because just today and FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER -- my Series 1 watch (running Watch OS 3.1.1) And my iPhone 6s Plus (running iOS 10.2) stopped pinging my phone!

I toggled Bluetooth off and on, and then it worked... but ummmm... can't do that every time if I don't know where my phone is!!!

Anyone else having recent problems with this?

I tried to use the feature last night and noticed it wasn't working
