Apple Watch Sport 38mm Silver Aluminum Case with Pink Sport Band
Ordered at 3:01 EST
Nothing has been charted to my Discover card yet
Still in Processing.

So I'm not understanding why the majority of the Pink Sports are still processing when others are all preparing to ship. My boyfriend ordered his 42mm Blue Sport a half hour after I did and his card has been charged and it is now showing "Preparing to Ship".

Looks like no changes for pink yet.....

Ordered 42mm Pink sport (only thing available for RD)...will buy a separate band

confirmation at 3:10am nothing on my CC yet..this worries me..

My wife wasn't sure if she wanted the pink or green band.. Granted she ordered the pink, but it seems like no one with a pink band is getting updates...

It seems that the 38mm was slipped to 4-6weeks within minutes of opening, and the 42s are still behind as well.

Probably would be useful to have a poll, which size and which week

Where did you see the 38mm was slipped to 4-6 weeks? I ordered mine at 3:01 EST in Michigan and have a delivery date of 4/24 - 5/8 yet. The watch is still stuck in processing though.

He means it sold out quickly during preorders.

Sister in Law's 38 mm in MD, U.S.A 3:05 a.m. ET Confirmation mail time stamp. 4/24-5/8 Processing.

I put my order in at 3:07AM and when I was clicking order, both the 38mm and the 42mm were slated for 4/24-window. The confirmation email left the 42mm alone, but moved the 38mm to 4-6 weeks. Just pointing out that it slipped to 4-6 weeks pretty quickly

Starting to wonder if there were production issues with the pink band? I found it odd that no stores had the pink sport band available for try-Ons...

Yeahh seeing all the pinks not shipping or being charged led me to the same conclusion. If that is the case apple should have just substituted a white one for those who ordered pink and then sent them a pink band later on. Seems unfair for watches ordered later to be shipped out before watches ordered earlier.

Very unfair. They could have mentioned or had some freaking communication with us/warning us that we wouldn't get them on launch (if that is the case) I would have ordered the white if I had known this would be one of the only watches not having any progress. -_-

I'm in the same boat as you, but to be fair to Apple, they said 4/24-5/8. That's been known since day 1. They may be shipping out the more popular orders first since, in terms of industrial process engineering it's "easier", and moving to the smaller batches later.

I'm more bummed I can't finally see the real 'pink' that it actually is. If it's fluorescent pink, I'm gonna have to reconsider my 3AM last minute switch to pink  lol screw the watch, I just want to see if it's really coral! I think my next band will have to be turquoise/aqua, or even better, a camel-leather with coral/aqua details

I saw the "pink" in person at the store, the clerk said it was VERY PINK. Um, he was a typical guy, it was not PINK, it is ORANGE. More like a reddish orange, not pink at all. At least the one he pointed out to me was, and it was darker than I expected it to be too.

But I like it! I was actually hoping for orange and not pink.

waitin' on pink

Hello everyone!!

I ordered a 42mm PINK apple watch sport with a confirmation email sent at 3:08am EST. I live in OHIO, and at this point I have NOT been charged, NOR has my order been moved to preparing for shipment.

NEXT DAY AIR is all i'm chanting in my head, mostly because it still gives us so much hope!! :p

My co-worker saw the pink in our local :apple: store, and he said it definitely is more "salmon" than pink, so if you were hoping for a salmon/coral, then you are in luck! Like me :)

Yeah, I am baffled as to why they refer to it as "pink." It will be interesting to see if the mass produced ones look different.

If they did come out with a true pink, I'd pick this over that, so I'm happy.

If the Milan debut is any indication, more band colors, including various shades of pink, will hopefully be coming.

I ordered a pink sport band as an additional band and wanted to try it on in the store. They didn't have one for try on, but the one in the display case was definitely a coral color. It was a bright coral, but it was definitely an orangey pink, not a blue pink. Hope that helps!

Excellent to know about the pink-ness of the band! I'm a coral-leaning person, so it should be a good fit :) I may have to get something a bit more subdued for work, was going to wait until some third party bands hit the market and go for a nice leather or metal band, or both.

I think it's funny how all of the men have to clarify that the pink is not for them. hee hee! :p

As orange as it is, I don't see why men couldn't wear it! I would never call the color of the one I saw "pink." I guess they were trying to gear to women by doing that!
