Even though I appreciate the new design, I returned it and sticking with Apple's orange leather case. Been wanting a proper orange case for a while. If the Air design makes a comeback next year, I'll reconsider. That was the best of the bunch imo.

For anyone on the fence, try it out. It's probably the best overall slim case on the market.
I have many Pitaka cases for iPhone 13 Pro. I have fits issues with all MagEZ 2 cases, only AIR case fits perfectly well, but it don't have MagSafe magnets, thats no go for me in long time use.
As MagEZ 3 is made from 600D aramid, I suppose that it will fit like AIR case. Sorry to hear about camera bumper issues.
I never had issues with wireless charging. For me thicker and lighter case is better than stronger magnets. It's shame that Pitaka will make this case only for iPhone 14 models.

Received a replacement case direct from Pitaka today (having originally ordered on Amazon Uk) to correct the loose camera ring. New case is rock solid, no rattle from the camera ring at all. Good service from Pitaka.

Got my MagEZ 3 today, and it has a pretty bad rattling at the camera bump. Quite disappointing as I really like the case otherwise.
Got the replacement, and unfortunately it still rattles, though I think I can tell there is an improvement. I guess I'll have to live with it.

I also received a replacement and no rattles at all. Perfect slim case. To me at least magnets are really strong but I didn’t have a mag ez 2 to compare.

Does anyone find their replacement case has a different feel? Mine seems less grippy somehow with a smoother texture. Not sure if they’ve changed anything or whether the grip develops over time. I love this case because I find it really grippy so less likely to drop the phone. So bit disappointed that this replacement seems a bit more slippery. Hopefully it’ll improve

That is why stop using Pitaka. Even they have great support - last year I received 2 replacements of MagEZ 2 Fusion Waving, but no one fits as expected for that price. I bought another 3 cases MagEZ 2 Blue, MagEZ 2 Red and Air. Only Air case fits perfectly well. It the price will be half I can accept this.
I really like 3D grip, but every case is unique and have different feel of this grip. So it's normal, that you have different feel. That is another think that I don't like about Pitaka. My MagEZ 2 Red/Orange case has the worst 3D grip. It feels like very cheap plastic and it's very slippery. On other side, MagEZ 2 Fusion Weaving Overture has the best grip that I like on pitaka, but has fits issues.
So there is no case from Pitaka that is perfect.
I also had MagEZ Pro 2 case that has fat borders, but on some places around display the steel from phone comes from case out (so case again doesn't fit). My brain can't stand it.

So I ended with Apple Leather case, that is only 1g harder than MagEZ 2 (26g vs 25g). I have the best fit and all round protection.

Those with the Pitaka case, what is the difference between the 1500D and the 600D cases? Apart from the size of the zig zags that is? Is one better than the other or is it just personal preference?

Ok, I finally switched my iPhone 13 Pro for 14 Pro Max and go with Pitaka MagEZ 3 FW Rhapsody.
The case finally fits perfectly well. Also mine don't rattle at all. But I have different issue - it looks like weird 3D GRIP finish. Case is very slippery in hand and I'm afraid of using it. Also there are some lighter line on back of the case.

I already wrote to Pitaka support, but I bought it in local store, so I don't know if they help me with it.

UPDATE:
Pitaka support send mi to "right" places. I started to hate it support!
In regards to the feeling of the case, the case is dipped in a liquid oil material. It may feel slippery, but I can assure you over time, the slippery feeling will wear away.

In regard to the lines that are shown through the weaving, this is due to our rather technical weaving process. Our cases are weaved similar to how a carpet is weaved. You can see in this video our weaving process:

Unfortunately, because the case was purchased through a third-party retailer, I am not able to send a request to quality control. While I do see the lines your mentioning, I do think of it as a characteristic of the weaving. I do not see it as a flaw, rather as a unique piece.

I hope that answers your question! Please, let me know if you have any others ~
So I tried my local Store (iStyle) and they let me check other cases that has in stock and I switched it for great one with fantastic 3D grip. Weird is that this other one has different packaging, so It looks like another revision or something.

How bad are the finger prints / smudges on the back ? I really would like to get this case but i can’t deal with the smudges.. but I do feel like trying to get this and put a dbrand skin over the fiber to prevent the smudges, not sure it will work but once I have extra cash I might try..

Unless they take away the soft rubber coating, you'll be fighting those greasy smudges forever. And I wash my hands all the time and they're relatively dry.

I love the Pitaka cases but even me, a person that doesn't mind extreme patina on leather cases -- couldn't take the smudges for longer. Which suprised me. It just looks gross when you're on a phone call and your iPhone looks like it's covered in chicken grease lol. Also for some reason the grip and texture feels "weird" with the Pitaka. Like almost too 'chalky'? If that makes sense.

Do you think a matte dbrand skin would stick on the back of the pitaka ? I like the minimal style case but the fiber and smudges I can do without .

Even with clean hands you see them .. tilt it in different light angles they are there … I’m going to try out a matte Dbrand skin on the back. Once done I’ll report back on how it works out .

Their cases come slippery out of the box, but gets grippier as you use them.

I don't have any slippery Pitaka Case (except that I replaced).
Currently using awesome Sunset Moment on iP14ProMax and its feel is ridiculous.
How is that sunset moment case holding up ? Can you post some pics ?

I want this case but it’s sold out
That is point of limited edition 😄. I had opportunity to order 2 days early as ASI member.

I had to say that this is the best Pitaka case I ever had.
It's slightly heavier and thicker (0,95mm vs 1,05mm and +- 1g) than MagEZ 3 600D but fit is just the best. Not moving at all even in top corners. It's very hard to remove that case.
But the best for me is that feel in hand. I can't stop touching it. I also like the color for sure, fits great with space black iPhone color.
Excelent case 👍
