Laughing at them comments thinking Google copied Apple instead of knowing Apple literally gave them the design.
and multiple phones have reverse wireless charging since 2020. When are we welcoming apple to 2020?Welcome to 2025 Google, Apple had that for years!

Please. You are in a Apple fanboy forum.
It should be compatible with any QI2 device.I hope it's compatible with iPhone and Android Phone.
The lower magnet is what auto-aligns and snaps your phone into the correct vertical position on stands. It also provides extra "grip" for wallets and power banks. While you dont need it, because QI2 pucks dont need it, it's a nice to have addition and really has no downsides.![]()
And how it should be
This would be much better design as it would auto align to either portrait or landscape positions. And you also don't need the additional lower magnet to orientate items attached
Have you been to Google store? It’s an exact clone of Apple retail store they even have special section just like Genius Bar. Just goes to show you the innovation at Google.I wonder where I've seen this before
The magnets for optimized positioning which is why they are part of the QI2 standard. What’s so great about MagSafe Charging vs regular charging?
Ok, but I mean vs just plugging in a cable? I guess eventually the smartphone will have no ports whatsoever. The magnets for optimized positioning which is why they are part of the QI2 standard.

Primarily that you don't have to plug in a cable. I love being able to just drop my phone on a Qi charger in our cars rather than find the end of the cable and plug it in every time I get in and out. It also helps keep the car looking neat and tidy. Same thing where I charge at night, just set the phone on the charger. Wake up in the middle of the night no need to fumble with a cord in the dark, etc.Ok, but I mean vs just plugging in a cable? I guess eventually the smartphone will have no ports whatsoever.
It more convenient to place it on a charging stand or have things like Powerbank or wallets just stick to the back. The benefits of plugging in a cable are that it gives you faster charging and generates less heat. You can even use MagSafe for non-charging stands like car mounts if you want.Ok, but I mean vs just plugging in a cable? I guess eventually the smartphone will have no ports whatsoever.

Not really. If you paid attention to furnitures and material used it looks just like Apple Store. So an open floorplan with tables and a place to get help / customer service?
That's called "a store" these days.
I dont know about all that, but it's called a store because you can buy things there. So an open floorplan with tables and a place to get help / customer service?
