True but I had my 13 Pro display up next to it to compare. The 6 Pro display looked better. Granted it was stuck on 94% brightness and for some reason I could not turn it down to see what the display looks like dim.
For me, the real test is how I like the display at night. I love to read myself to sleep.
Clicked to the preorder for the pro and all I got was out of stock and option for getting on a waiting list lol. Probably check back in after official launch and see if anything pops back in. No hurry on getting one however.
I'm betting the sunrise color is probably a permanent out of stock like the pumpkin colored XL 4 I think it was.
Pricing don't seem too bad, reminds me a bit of the good old Nexus days with reasonable pricing.

No I’ve seen the Sunny one come back in stock for a few seconds here and there. I had an opportunity to pick it up myself once but I don’t want 128 gb. I think it’s definitely worth signing up for the waitlist if you want a certain phone.
Went to the Google Store today for the first time, it was across the street from the Apple Store. I really liked the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. It’s definitely a two handed device for me. I almost wish I had a reason to get a second phone so I could purchase one.

Just been into o2. Both were bolstered down so couldn't hold them, nor could I pick them up. No idea what colours they were as could essentially only see screen.
Instantly drawn to, and preferred the look of the 6. As strange as it sounds, the black 'bezel' made the phone screen really pop even more. It looked like a stunning panel.
To my eye, you couldn't tell the Pro had a better screen. But maybe with prolonged use of each one you'd see it more?
I liked the Pro, but I really didn't like the curve. I know I knew it had a curved screen before I bought it but as I've said before, I don't want to trade off and lose the telephoto. It's way more important to me than an ultra wide.
But this has left me feeling massively torn. I really really liked the look of the 6 way more. It was very Xperia like and I've always loved the design of those.

As I have said a number of times in here now, I have always preferred the 6 design over the Pro but I want a telephoto camera. Trade offs. A lot of people on here are only buying a 6 to use alongside an iPhone so for them a 6 is perfectly good enough I'm sure.
Anyway...
I went to a different store. EE (the absolute worst network ever) felt dirty walking in lol. They had dummy phones out, nothing working. Great thing is I could actually hold the dummy for the Pro. Not the normal 6 which were all glued together.
The Pro in hand actually felt great. And the Sorta Sunny next to Cloudy made me feel better I went Sunny after being torn between them! It's gorgeous.

The cloudy looks really good from online pics/videos, does it just as good in person? I'd have been just as happy with white or yellow, they both look great.
Both of them are really nice.
I personally think the 6 looks better in person whereas the Pro looks just as good in the flesh as it does on camera.
Because they've often been videod or photographed together by reviewers, the 6 looks like it has quite large bezels in comparison, but in reality it's such a great design.
I really don't think people will go wrong with either device and at this price point it's absolutely no wonder they're on back order virtually everywhere.
Colour wise, I must be in a minority that doesn't like the back of the 6, compared to the Pro.
Oh wow really! I'll admit I don't like the coral too much. But that Sorta Seafoam is just incredible.
I like the main Seafoam colour, I just don't like how much it contrasts on top. Or any of the coral.
You are taking it the wrong way. It’s not a crap attitude. I saw them both and I was repeatedly saying both panels looked nice. If anything, there were some who were saying the Pixel 6 display panel was inferior by a good margin to the 6 Pro. I didn’t see that with either panel on display. That’s what I was trying to get across.
I think for the average person, the Pixel 6 will tick every box they need and the screen will be great. The Pro is for people that want a true flagship. It's for the people that can tell the difference between 1080p and QHD and for those that can feel a difference between 90hz and 120hz. For everyone else, the 6 is perfectly fine.
Wow I was able to place an order for a 512 GB Stormy Black 6 Pro. I’m guessing it would be for December delivery. So at least there’s no waitlisting for that particular configuration.
Ah! Okay now that you’re all awake: I didn’t place the order because I don’t need 512 GB and my 256 GB will be here in time for Halloween.
I was just curious how they’re cycling through their stock availability, especially for models that were impossible to get after the first few hours of ordering.
However, I did order two of their cases. The Stormy case will be here late November and the White case will be here in December. I’m in no hurry for either of them. At this point I’ve got 3 other cases. But I’m sure I’ll enjoy them when they arrive as I do like to switch up the wardrobe!

Any update from anyone on preparing to ship / ship status ? Mine is still showing as Delivery for October 27th - which given its a bank holiday here tomorrow so there is no post - leaves only Tuesday for despatch to get delivery on the 27th.
And just a heads up for anyone holding off for the leather belroy cases that seem to be out of stock here anyway - they are available to order direct from Belroy for the same price and they have stock now. Ordered the green to go with the sorta seafoam pixel 6.

I could see you were speaking tongue in cheek, and took it as good natured ribbing and were speaking to the collective “you” and not targeting @Aneres11 in particular for a past comment. Unfortunately it’s so hard to interpret tone on forums and all too easy to misinterpret. So I think we really all should remember we’ve all been around acting pretty consistently for awhile now, so therefore none of us are trolls and therefore deserve a benefit of a doubt if something comes across as a bit of throwing shade. I know there’ve been stressful days I’ve come here and completely took something personally myself. Then gone back and looked it over again and realized I misread entirely.
Lol and even some of the “trolls” have turned into fun forum friends. I won’t mention names but a certain person who likes to take the you-know-what out of us here on the Android side has actually been a lot of fun to joke around with over on the Apple side.
Mine is a UK order and can no longer cancel it, which suggests it will be shipping soon. Still have 26th as the delivery date.
Cancelled my 30w charger order (which was separate). Didn't realise the Pixel stand 2 I plan to buy comes with one. I'll have to be quick to buy one though when they're available with how fast every other Pixel & case has sold.

My UK 6 Pro is due for delivery on the 28th, I pre-ordered Sat. morning. I can still cancel today but suspect that will change tomorrow with a view to shipping on Thursday.
I’m also buying the Pixel Stand 2nd Gen. Definitely have to be quick, my 6 Pro case is not arriving until Nov. Pixel accessories seen to sell fast like hot cakes. I was hoping the stand would be available to buy this week instead of coming soon, avoiding the need to purchase the 30w charger separately for £25. Need to think what best to do, hoping I have an old USB-C charger laying around somewhere.
For all versions of UK Pixel 6 Pro’s on the Google Store, I noticed pre-orders are to now only join the waiting list. So demand must be high with the Pro’s even before the lifting of the embargo. Either that or limited first batch supply from Google.
And they'll be no pre warning of the Pixel stand 2 going live. So I'll be checking the site several times a day.
I hope you are able to get it. I am probably going to use my MagSafe charger. I charge my S21 Ultra on that a lot. I also have an original Pixel stand I have not set up that I’ll be using. I’ll wait for everyone’s real world comments and then decide if I want one. One problem I have is I’ve got so many wireless chargers from all the Samsung phones I’ve had over the last few years.
I am kind of confused what’s going to work safely and well with which phone.
