I read the post about the crippled daughter and was touched!

Miracles CAN happen! Says' so in all religions, and also on the Planetelectronics site!

Rest assured, it's TRULY A MIRACLE!!!

Having been inspired by Apple community, these folks have decided to sell you these making no profit whatsoever and actually take a loss!!! That's right! These people are so righteous they are paying OUT OF THIER OWN POCKETS hundreds of dollars!!

It'a really a charity in disguise!

Bless them!

Note: donations to these saints are always welcome. See details at their site and (refer to Nigerian contacts).

LOL they couldn't even be bothered to create a new Gmail account :D

Domain was registered on the same day as the Retina announcement. Surely not a scam...
What becomes more interesting is there was a Presner Sejour that lived in NJ that died a few years ago. I'm wondering if this is even possibly identify theft of a dead person?

Hahahha, someone needs to report this to the feds immediately. :D

Normally I wouldn't even bother, but this scam is so bad that whoever is running it just needs to get busted.

I found the newest MacBook Pro Retina on there for $1250 and I'm actually considering buying from it.. but I don't want to get scammed anyone bought anything from them? http://www.planetelectronics.net/ap...etina-display-15-4-core-i7-macos-x-10-7-lion/

Brooklyn, NY.

There was an article by a photog many years ago, I don't remember the web address anymore, but it basically showed the 'storefronts' of these web stores. tl;dr from it was, if its "contact" address has Brooklyn, NY in it... don't walk away, RUN as if you're fleeing from the zombie apocalypse.

This thread is comedy gold.

Apparently they've been doing this for quite a few years, looks like mods4less.com was in 2009.
http://www.resellerratings.com/store/view/Electronics4less/page/1

So basically, whoever it is, registers a site with a fake domain, takes orders but never delivers. Addresses can vary from TN, Montreal and NY.
Not a few years - they've been around for a long time. They come out and claim to have the newest <insert product here> in stock, at less than whatever MSRP it's supposed to sell, their premise being they'll catch an idiot online shopper pants down. Take their money and fleece them for more cash... or run.

If the cops bust it down, they go ahead and create a new store overnight, rinse and repeat. It's highly lucrative because it costs nothing to these scammers, and there is virtually no shortage of idiots online. All they see is the price and they immediately think "hey this is a good deal", clicks checkout... bam.

I did business with them many times in the past.

Recently, I bought 2 retina MacBook Pro with them, and everything went smooth as silk.

I ordered on the 29/6 my first retina, and on the next day I decided to order a second one, but right before I could click buy on the second one, UPS ringed at my door and they delivered both, even the second one I didn't order yet!

Their customer service is top notch indeed!

The rMBP were of course 2.9/32/1024, which is a custom BTO that Apple does only for them.

As soon as my paraplegic daughter started using it, she also began walking again, and since the day I clicked buy on planetelectronics website my wife instantly became a swallower, despite being a spitter all these years!

Can't get any better!

Thank-you Planet Electronics.

omfg, this just made my day

Its amazing, scammers are getting smarter. I don't get regular paypal email on Craigslist anymore. Instead, they use actual user photos so it looks like a real product that's owned by someone and even have a phone # now. The problem is, they're still dummies when it comes to products and products don't lie. Trying to sell me a "2012 macbook white" isn't gonna get me lol (which Ive seen)

Apple do not give "Bulk discounts" not unless your a corporate...Like the others here, walk away, don't part with any cash via any means at all...If it walks like a duck then that's what it is.

That's the point. I'm tempted to call the business phone number to see if it's even possible.

Wow, their website's gotten fancy! There's also a whole bunch of new stuff at completely believable prices. :p

Oh wow they've changed the theme to another preset one using the ecommerce 'bigcommerce'

"Down for Maintenance
